Born in Biella in 1962, Rossetto graduated in management at Bocconi University and then began his professional career at Arthur Andersen in 1987. In 1993 he received an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.He joined the Boston Consulting Group in Italy, working on projects in industries including retailing, financial services, and heavy machinery. In 1998 he joined Autogrill as Director of sales and logistics; two years later he was appointed Managing Director. In 2002 Rossetto entered the telecommunications firm, Omnitel, as COO and member of the board. In 2005 he was appointed CEO of UPIM. In 2011 he joined Telecom Italia as Group Senior Vice President with responsibilities for the consumer markets for landlines, cellular phones, and internet content. He sat on the board of Seat Pagine Gialle as an independent in the 2012-2015 period. He has also been a member of the board ofStarrock, a company active in educational digital activities for the sciences. Rossetto is a member of “Italian Angels for Growth” where he is an investor in innovative start-ups. In November 2015 Luca Rossetto joined REA as General Manager of the internet portal “Casa.it”. In December 2016 he led the management buyout of Casa.it and AtHome.com by the two firms’ managers and Oakley Capital.

Established in 1996, Casa.it is the Italian trusted real estate website, with more than 12.000 real estate agencies, developers and private advertisers. With over 18 million visits per month* and more than 840.000 listings for sales and rentals, Casa.it, together with atHome.lu, immoRegion.fr and atHome.de, is part of the new European group specialized in the online real estate market. After the recent management buyout finalized in February 2017, with the transfer of ownership from Rea Group to the management team led by Luca Rossetto with the support of Oakley Capital Private Equity, Casa.it is continuously evolving investing in particular in digital innovation in order to achieve all the challenges of the real estate market (o business???).
Technology and innovation best represent the direction taken by the company. The key objectives of Casa.it for the next months are: brand relaunch, proprietary technology expansion and development of an integrated mobile platform to offer its users an effective navigation experience on all devices, desktop or mobile, thanks to the development of digital products such as apps. A new portal with a technologically advanced search engine. A new APP, iOS and Android, that has exceeded one million downloads and has quadrupled the number of contacts generated. The new map search, which allows a simple and personalized intuitive experience based on the user’s needs. The double authentication that gives our real estate customers an additional tool to protect against fishing. These are some of the main goals achieved in recent months by Casa.it. Technology and digital innovation are the key words on which the company will continue to focus on improving our products & services and the experience of end users.
